Netcompany has won the tender to replace the core application of the Dutch Medicines Evaluation Board (CBG). The current application, which supports the medicine evaluation process, will be replaced by a more modern and efficient system.
Ensuring high-quality medical services requires increased digitisation in the healthcare sector. Netcompany supplies some of the market’s most innovative IT solutions and digital platforms within the healthcare arena.
With the new CBG agreement, Netcompany has secured another strategic digital partnership within the healthcare sector – making it the third national medicine agency in Europe to partner with Netcompany for a responsible digital transformation.
Netcompany developed the DELE platform for the Norwegian Medical Products Agency (NOMA) to consolidate workflows and data into a single cloud-based system, enhancing quality and transparency in the Norwegian healthcare sector. Prior to that, a similar platform was built for the Danish Medicines Agency.
In the Netherlands, the work at CBG is of great importance. Building on its contributions to digital government, Netcompany will play a significant role in transforming the Dutch healthcare sector, enabling national and international organisations under the EMA (European Medicines Agency) to log into the new application.
The new system is expected to be delivered in two years. The agreement lasts four years, with two possible three-year extensions.
