Netcompany strengthens its financial services business with two high-profile appointments

Former Topdanmark CEO Peter Hermann will become a Partner in Netcompany with responsibility for the company’s ambitions within life & pension and insurance, while Søren Skov Mogensen, currently Group CEO of TITAN Containers and formerly a senior executive at Banking Circle Group and Danske Bank, will become the new CEO of Netcompany Banking Services. The two appointments will accelerate Netcompany’s growth across life & pension, insurance and banking in Denmark, the Nordics and, over time, across Europe.

Peter Hermann (53) will join Netcompany as Partner and Head of Life, Pension & Insurance on 1 September 2026. He will take on overall responsibility for Netcompany’s solutions for the pensions and insurance sector. His initial focus will be on further strengthening Netcompany’s position in Denmark. Over time, he will help introduce the company’s digital solutions for the financial sector in additional European markets.

Peter Hermann has more than 25 years of experience in life & pension and insurance, most recently as Group CEO of Topdanmark, where he led a major technology transformation and modernisation programme in which the company’s legacy insurance systems were replaced by a single new core platform and a new customer solution. Peter is a strong and strategic leader who has delivered technological and organisational modernisations with high complexity and clear results.

Jens Aaløse, Country Managing Partner, Netcompany Denmark:

»Peter’s extensive experience in leading major technology transformations gives him a deep understanding of the demands, risks and priorities our clients face. Together with his strong industry insight, commercial capabilities, execution power and European outlook, this makes him the ideal profile to further develop our solutions, drive growth and help life & pension and insurance companies realise the new opportunities created by technologies such as AI.«

Netcompany already has a strong position in the life and pensions sector through its AMPLIO Life & Pension solution, its co-ownership of Festina Finance and its partnership with pension services provider Forca. With Peter Hermann at the helm, Netcompany will further develop that position, establish a presence in the insurance market and bring the company’s technology and solutions to even more clients.

Peter Hermann, incoming partner at Netcompany with responsibility for Life & Pension and Insurance:

»Netcompany has both the ambition and the ability to drive the digital development of the sector. I know how demanding it is to transform and modernise a complex business while ensuring stable operations and high-quality service for customers. I also know how much easier it is to realise the benefits of new technology, including AI, when you have a solid foundation where systems, data and processes work together. This is precisely where Netcompany can make a real difference for life & pension and insurance companies. I look forward to meeting our clients, strengthening our position in Denmark and, over time, bringing our solutions to more European markets.«

Netcompany is also strengthening its banking services business, with Søren Skov Mogensen joining as CEO of Netcompany Banking Services (NBS) on 1 October 2026. He joins from his current role as Group CEO of TITAN Containers and has previously held senior positions at Banking Circle Group and Danske Bank, following an earlier career at McKinsey & Company.

Søren Skov Mogensen (42) will be responsible for further developing the banking services business in Denmark and the Nordics and, over time, contributing to Netcompany’s growth in additional European markets.

Jens Aaløse, Country Managing Partner, Netcompany Denmark:

»Søren is an experienced strategic and commercial leader with a proven ability to turn ambition into tangible results across organisations and markets. His international experience and deep insight into the banking sector make him the ideal profile to take NBS to the next level, strengthen our client relationships and accelerate our European ambitions.«

Banks are facing a combination of new regulation, competition from new digital players and rising customer expectations. At the same time, they must turn AI into tangible benefits for both operations and the customer experience.

Søren Skov Mogensen, incoming CEO of Netcompany Banking Services:

»Netcompany is a company with high ambitions, strong capabilities and a culture where people think big and execute fast. That appeals to me as a leader. The combination of a stable core banking platform and Netcompany’s capabilities in innovation and AI puts Netcompany Banking Services in a strong position to address the challenges banks face. I look forward to meeting the team and working with them to build on this solid foundation and accelerate the development of the banking solutions of the future.«

Søren Skov Mogensen succeeds Thomas Cordth, who will continue at Netcompany as Head of Sales Private. Thomas Cordth stepped into the leadership of NBS at a time when the integration of the former SDC into NBS required stronger management focus and in-depth knowledge of Netcompany’s methods, products and platforms.
