Netcompany wins 14-year contract to modernise the Danish Customs and Tax Administration’s case management with AMPLIO, replacing their current legacy system.
Netcompany has been awarded a 14-year contract with the Danish Agency for Development and Simplification (UFST) to deliver a new, cross tax domain unified case management platform for the Danish Customs and Tax Administration.
The new solution is named Sagsportalen and will be built on Netcompany’s own case management platform AMPLIO. Once fully implemented, the platform will process approximately 500,000 cases annually and support up to 5,000 employees. It will cover case management across all tax areas including corporate tax and personal income tax.
Sagsportalen consolidates case management onto a single, configurable platform designed specifically for the processes of public authorities. With AMPLIO as its core, it supports the full case lifecycle, including workflows, approval flows, deadline management, role-based access, document handling, bulk communications, and automated journaling. The platform can be configured and adjusted directly by UFST, allowing processes and rules within the platform to be adjusted without large-scale development projects.
»Many European tax authorities are still running on legacy systems built for a paper-based world, which stand in the way of the gains of automation. These systems make tax an inefficient and overcomplex process for citizens, businesses, and authorities alike. AMPLIO is built to replace legacy systems, giving tax authorities a platform built for modern administration where processes are automated, data is used more effectively, and tax oversight is more precise,« says Lars Langer, Partner at Netcompany.
The platform is scheduled to be fully implemented by 2030. The contract covers operations, licensing, and continued development through to 2040.
