Netcompany chosen to develop new student debt system

Udbetaling Danmark has chosen Netcompany for a comprehensive modernisation of the student debt system using the AMPLIO platform.

The student debt system, which manages loans for more than 350,000 students with a total debt exceeding DKK 38 billion, is set for a complete legacy modernisation. At the core of this transformation is Netcompany’s AMPLIO platform, enabling significantly increased automation and optimised workflows for student loan repayment. This will lead to faster case processing and improved efficiency in handling each case.

»We are very pleased to strengthen our partnership with Udbetaling Danmark, with the AMPLIO platform playing a key role in the modernisation of the student debt system. Managing student debt effectively is a critical societal responsibility, as these loans form an essential financial steppingstone for many Danes as they transition into adulthood. This agreement highlights our strategic commitment to investing in platforms that support the digital foundation for critical infrastructure in Denmark and Europe,« says Kim Clausen Agerskov, Partner at Netcompany responsible for the public sector.

AMPLIO is a robust and field-tested case management platform, built to facilitate extensive automation across intricate systems and regulatory frameworks. It plays a key role in driving large-scale legacy modernisation projects for numerous Netcompany clients.

As of 2025, Netcompany has already established multiple major agreements to implement the AMPLIO platform, notably with Forca and within the new NemKonto system.

At Udbetaling Danmark, the student debt system will be the fourth system running on AMPLIO, alongside the existing Family Benefits, Housing Support, and Pension systems.

The agreement has a value of DKK 220 million.
