Through a groundbreaking public-private partnership, Denmark is set to become the first country in Europe where leading companies from the financial, public, and legal sectors—industries with high regulatory standards—join forces to introduce specific directions for the responsible implementation of the AI Act across all sectors.
This initiative will offer best-practice examples on how AI can be safely and legally integrated to support employees, while also delivering secure and reliable services to customers and citizens.
In recent years, the topic of AI has sparked countless discussions, recommendations, and debates across the world. In many ways, AI has emphasized that the world is in a period of transition with rising technological, military, and economic tensions. In order for Europe to be competitive on this global scene, the ability to develop and apply new technologies like AI will be an increasingly crucial factor for success. Therefore, a large group of Danish private and public organizations has formed a unique public-private partnership to accelerate the implementation of AI, making it easier, quicker, and safer for European organisations serving customers and citizens to implement AI assistants.
The partnership consists of actors from the highly regulated financial and public sector, in collaboration with several IT companies and the preferred law firm of the Danish government, Poul Schmith/Kammeradvokaten. The partnership is initiated by André Rogaczewski, CEO of Netcompany and Chairman of Danish Industry Digital, who has long been advocating for public-private collaboration regarding artificial intelligence.
