Unique partnership shapes the future of pension savings

Netcompany and Forca, a pension alliance featuring companies like Lærernes Pension, PKA, and PBU, have partnered in a groundbreaking effort to innovate how pension companies best manage the Danes’ pension savings.

Danes are setting higher standards for their pension than ever before. Retirement accounts for roughly a third of the average Dane’s life, making it one of the most significant investments in life. Consequently, the pension industry faces increasing pressure to deliver greater transparency, enhanced customer value, and improved self-service solutions that provide a more personalised and intuitive experience.

Forca, whose customers manage pension savings for teachers, childcare workers, and nurses, has entered a close partnership with Netcompany to develop a more modern, transparent, and innovative approach to pension management.

This will be achieved with a new cutting-edge pension platform built on Netcompany’s well-established and renowned platforms – AMPLIO, EASLEY AI, and mit.dk – together with Festina Finance’s core system, Festina Life and Pension. The platform is designed to enhance advisory services, modernise member experiences, accelerate innovation, and maximise economies of scale.

»Our partnership with Netcompany marks a significant step forward, paving the way for a far more modern approach to managing members’ pensions. Moving Forca to a market-leading technological platform will lower our costs and free up more resources to focus on our primary mission – creating value for the members.«

Replacing over half of Forca’s existing system landscape, the platform will support digital services, processes, and the digital experience for both the customers and their members.

»For pension funds in Denmark and Europe to reallocate resources from administrative costs to better investments, the industry must fundamentally rethink its approach to managing pension savings. Our new pension platform addresses this challenge by serving as a technological backbone that handles underlying administration, enabling Forca to deliver greater customer value through improved, more personalised, and tailored services,« says Thomas Holst Demant, Partner at Netcompany.

»We are delighted to bring the new pension platform to life together with Netcompany and Forca. It is developed with the ambition to innovate, optimise and future-proof pension companies across Europe. The potential is vast, and the industry appears ready to advance its digitalization efforts,« says Morten Schantz, Founder of Festina Finance.

The agreement, valued at DKK 1 billion, spans 10 years with the possibility of an additional 12-year extension.
