Netcompany selected as digital partner for the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs has selected Netcompany as one of its digital partners under the framework agreement for application services. The collaboration covers digital development and application management for the Ministry’s departments handling strategic tasks related to representing the Netherlands’ interests abroad.

For Netcompany, this marks the third European Ministry of Foreign Affairs to which it provides digital solutions following agreements in Denmark and Norway. With the new Dutch agreement, Netcompany has been given exclusive responsibility for the non-consular services, which support the Ministry’s wider strategic work, including foreign policy, culture and the economy. This covers the development and management of applications based on existing technologies within the Ministry.

Netcompany was already part of the framework supporting the Ministry until June 2025. With this expansion, Netcompany strengthens its position as a trusted digital partner for European governments working to modernise and secure critical systems that support diplomacy, policy, and international cooperation.

This enables Netcompany to continue working across Europe to drive responsible digitalisation by enabling the sharing of knowledge, technology, and best practices to contribute to more digital sovereign governments across the continent.

»We are delighted that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has chosen Netcompany as one of its digital partners. Every day, we are committed to supporting the Ministry’s staff and enabling them to represent our collective interests abroad. This agreement opens new opportunities that allow us to bring our expertise and technology into play with public authorities both in the Netherlands and across Europe as we continue helping governments strengthen their digital capabilities.« — Britt Hoppenbrouwers, Country Managing Partner, Netcompany

The framework agreement has an initial term of four years, with the option to extend it for up to eight years.
