Greenland’s utility company, Nukissiorfiit, has chosen Netcompany as its digital transformation partner. The goal is to modernise and secure Nukissiorfiit’s digital energy supply infrastructure. Netcompany’s modular PULSE platform will function as the digital control tower, collecting and organising real-time data on customers’ water, heat, and electricity consumption.
Greenland’s national utility company, Nukissiorfiit, has entered a multiannual strategic partnership with Netcompany for the development and operation of a new digital ecosystem that will future-proof the supply infrastructure, benefiting the country’s energy customers. The partnership will focus on enhancing energy supply efficiency, allowing Nukissiorfiit to streamline workflows with increased automation, optimise consumption patterns and better utilise data.
A key component of the transformation will be the energy module in Netcompany’s modular PULSE platform. With PULSE already a part of the critical infrastructure in the aviation and transport industry, Nukissiorfiit will be able to utilise the integrated consumption data module to securely manage all meter data in Greenland in real-time. The billing module within PULSE will be used to efficiently handle a large amount of data. With better data utilisation, Nukissiorfiit will be able to streamline workflows and adopt new technologies like artificial intelligence.

With the partnership, Nukissiorfiit acquires a vendor-neutral and legacy-free digital ecosystem with full ownership. As the PULSE platform is built on open standards and is modular, it can be further developed and maintained by both Netcompany and other suppliers.
