Job Description

So, what are the main responsibilities of a Senior Project Manager in Netcompany? 

Our client, an international financial institution, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to support programme management activities within large-scale transformation or ERP programmes. The consultant will drive governance, coordination, and reporting across multiple streams in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will,

  • Establish, manage, and continuously improve programme governance structures, including SteerCos, reporting frameworks, and decision-making processes.
  • Develop and maintain programme roadmaps, milestone plans, and dependency tracking across multiple workstreams.
  • Ensure effective coordination and alignment between programme streams, identifying interdependencies and resolving conflicts.
  • Prepare high-quality programme reports and senior management materials, summarizing progress, risks, and key decisions.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and track programme risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely mitigation and resolution.
  • Act as a central point of coordination between business, IT, and vendor stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clear communication.
  • Support programme phases including procurement, vendor selection, and implementation oversight.
  • Implement and enforce standard programme management tools, templates, and processes, driving continuous improvement in PMO practices.
Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field and minimum 8+ years of proven experience in PMO/programme management support within large-scale transformation or ERP programmes.
  • Strong understanding of programme management principles, governance frameworks, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning, coordinating, and tracking large, multi-stream programmes involving diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven experience establishing and running programme governance structures (e.g., SteerCo, reporting cycles, decision frameworks).
  • Hands-on experience in ERP implementations (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and/or large-scale transformation programmes.
  • Experience working in multi-stakeholder environments, including business teams, IT, and external vendors; exposure to regulated industries is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of programme-level risk, issue, and dependency management, along with planning tools (roadmaps, milestone tracking) and PMO methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills in English, French or any other EU language is a plus.
