Senior DataOps Engineer for Netcompany Banking Services

In Netcompany Banking Services we deliver a range of different IT solutions and services to banks and savings banks in both Denmark and other Nordic countries. We provide a modern, cloud-based core banking platform to more than 50 Nordic banks, serving over 2 million end customers. Our solutions include daily banking operations, mobile and online banking, payments, investment, risk management, compliance, and open banking.

Netcompany Banking Services

As a Senior DataOps Engineer you will :

•  Automate data management processes.
•  Create and maintain ETL scripts (knowledge of SAS is a plus).
•  Monitor and optimize data flows.
•  Collaborate with IT teams, data engineers, and analysts to ensure high data quality.
•  Troubleshoot data and system-related issues.
•  Ensure data quality and integrity.
•  Manage data storage solutions and optimize performance.
•  Create and maintain documentation for data processes and systems.

Requirements:

• Experience working in the data warehousing field
• At least 4 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in SQL
• Knowledge of databases and data processing tools
• Knowledge of any ETL tool (preferably SAS DIS)
• Ability to automate data management processes
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team as a team player
• Experience with SAS or Teradata tools is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in the English language is required
• A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant IT specialization is required

Additional Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement data governance policies
• Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations
• Conduct data quality assessments and implement improvement plans
• Provide training and support to team members on data management best practices
