Job Description
Are you ready to discover the role of an Usability and accessibility expert in Netcompany?
As an Usability and accessibility expert, you will:
- Manage requests for access to the EU Health Policy Platform, ensuring they comply with the Platform’s rules of procedure.
- Support users in their daily use of the Platform whenever assistance is needed.
- Monitor media sources such as the Commission Public Health website, the European Commission press release corner, and Eurostat, and repost relevant health news for the HPP community.
- Identify publication issues (e.g., misplaced links or incorrect language versions) and inform users promptly.
- Propose corrective solutions for publication issues and set clear deadlines for implementation.
- Save weekly statistics in the appropriate folders and process them when management requests specific data for briefings.
- Test future Platform features in the non-production environment and provide advice on usability and accessibility when needed.
- Host or co-host fully online live webinars via Webex Webinars software.
Qualifications
What would make you a fit for the role:
- Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Slido, and Citnet Jira; ability to compile statistics, prepare briefings, and test Platform features for usability and accessibility.
- Experience in monitoring and curating content from institutional sources.
- Detail-orientation in identifying publication or technical issues and implementing timely corrective solutions.
- Confidence in presentation and being a fast learner.
- Ability to host webinars and manage workloads independently.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
