Job Description
Are you ready to discover the role of a Service Desk Operator at Netcompany?
As a Service Desk Operator, you will:
- Provide first-line support for unified communications infrastructure, including IP telephony, video conferencing, TV over IP, and network connectivity.
- Monitor and manage service requests using ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.
- Troubleshoot software applications and communication services for end-users.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve incidents efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of requests, incidents, and resolutions.
- Guide users on best practices for using communication tools.
- Escalate complex issues while ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Contribute to service improvements by reporting recurring issues and suggesting enhancements.
Qualifications
What would make you a fit for the role:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT service or support roles.
- Familiarity with unified communications services, including IP telephony, video conferencing, and network applications.
- Proficiency with software applications, knowledge of ServiceNow is a plus.
- Being customer-focused with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken.
