Job Description
Ever wondered what it feels like to be a Senior Integration Engineer / Consultant in Netcompany?
Joining us as a Senior Integration Engineer / Consultant, you will lead the design, delivery, and optimization of critical integration solutions across our enterprise ecosystem. You’ll work closely with architects, analysts, and engineers, mentor junior colleagues, and ensure integrations are high-quality, resilient, and scalable.
As a Senior Integration Engineer / Consultant you will:
- Design, implement, and optimize SOA and microservice integration solutions, including orchestration, mediation, messaging, retries, idempotency, and correlation.
- Lead API design and governance, ensuring performance, resiliency, and adherence to non-functional requirements.
- Translate business requirements into integration specifications and SLAs, managing scope, risks, and technical trade-offs.
- Build, troubleshoot, and maintain REST/SOAP services, data mappings, transformations, and vendor integrations.
- Develop automation scripts, CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to observability, logging, and monitoring using tools like Grafana, Kibana, and ELK.
- Mentor junior engineers, review designs and pull requests, and promote best practices across the team.
- Ensure all integrations meet security, compliance, and performance requirements, including OAuth2/OIDC/SAML, mTLS, and audit logging.
- Lead integrations across CRM, ERP, Billing, Collections, Portals, and Chatbots, mastering vendor APIs and managing change effectively.
Qualifications
What would make you a fit for the role:
- Extensive experience with integration patterns (request/response, pub/sub, batch, file-based, event-driven) and complex integration flows.
- Strong skills in data formats and transformations (JSON, XML, XSLT/JSON).
- Proven ability to build, test, and optimize APIs/services with robust error handling and resilience.
- Scripting experience (Unix shell, WLST) for operational tasks and automation.
- Hands-on expertise with ESB or iPaaS platforms (Oracle SOA Suite 12c/OSB, MuleSoft, or equivalent).
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools, Git, and version-control workflows.
- Solid understanding of unit and integration testing practices.
- Experience with logging, monitoring, and observability tools (Grafana, Kibana, ELK).
- Deep knowledge of security and compliance protocols (OAuth2/OIDC/SAML, mTLS, API keys, secure secrets handling).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
- A collaborative approach, strong teamwork skills, and a proactive mindset to drive high-quality solutions.
It would also be a plus if you match some of the following:
- Advanced SQL for monitoring and troubleshooting; strong PL/SQL skills are a plus.
- Experience in Telecommunications (Telco) or Utilities environments.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Exposure to large-scale enterprise ecosystems and managing vendor APIs.
