Job Description

Are you ready to discover the role of a Service Desk Coordinator in Netcompany?

As a Service Desk Coordinator, you will:

  • Provide first and second line Digital Workplace support to end users via phone, ticketing portal, chat and other channels, ensuring timely resolution and high user satisfaction.
  • Lead the resolution of complex incidents and requests, ensuring correct prioritisation, escalation and follow-up, and driving permanent fixes for recurring issues.
  • Manage workplace services: workstation setup and administration, software installation, patching and rollout, MDM daily operations and support for printers, scanners and other peripherals.
  • Be able to coach and mentor other Service Desk staff, translating complex technical topics into clear, practical guidance and promoting best practices.
  • Coordinate activities within the service desk skill area, acting as team coordinator when required.
  • Contribute to and maintain knowledge base procedures and documentation to continuously improve service efficiency and user experience.
Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role:

  • Around 6 years of experience in a similar role in IT Service Desk / User Support, including second line support and workplace management in a demanding environment.
  • Strong expertise in Windows 10+ workstation support, Microsoft 365/Office applications and common workplace tools and peripherals.
  • Good knowledge of Active Directory, basic Windows/Linux server concepts, networking fundamentals, backup/restore, antivirus, patching and software deployment.
  • Ability to coach and support colleagues, share knowledge and act as an internal expert reference within the team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to explain complex issues in simple terms and handle user complaints professionally.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work under pressure, manage priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent knowledge of English and French (spoken and written).
  • ITIL certification is required; additional technical certifications such as Windows 10 MCSA, Microsoft 365 Modern Desktop Administrator, IT Helpdesk/Google IT Support, MOS or equivalent are strong assets.
