Job Description

Are you ready to discover the role of Cybersecurity Engineer (Vulnerability Management) in Netcompany?

Joining us as a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be a part of the vibrant team of our highly skilled Cybersecurity Technology Department of the Information Security organization. Your everyday life will mainly consist of designing, implementing and operating Vulnerability & Attack Surface Management solutions. In this role, you will lead the identification, assessment, and mitigation of vulnerabilities across diverse infrastructures and applications, driving the continuous reduction of the organization’s and clients’ attack surface.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging modern security platforms and automation to enhance visibility, governance, and response efficiency within complex enterprise environments.

As a Cybersecurity Engineer you will

  • Support the Vulnerability Management lifecycle — from discovery and assessment to prioritization, remediation, and reporting, across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures.
  • Perform and coordinate vulnerability scans and configuration audits, ensuring continuous visibility of security exposures.
  • Drive Attack Surface Reduction initiatives, mapping the organization’s external and internal exposure points and developing proactive defense strategies to minimize them.
  • Leverage Vulnerability platforms and related integrations to automate data collection, enrichment, and risk-based prioritization.
  • Collaborate closely with SOC, Cloud Security, Infrastructure, and DevOps teams to embed vulnerability management practices into operational and development pipelines.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders, translating vulnerability data into actionable risk insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Define and maintain security metrics and KPIs, reporting on exposure trends, SLA performance, and overall program maturity.
  • Stay ahead of evolving threats, vulnerabilities, and exploit techniques, ensuring that internal methodologies align with international standards and frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, evaluating and integrating new tools and technologies that enhance the effectiveness of vulnerability and attack surface management processes.
