Job Description

Are you ready for a sneak-peek in the day of a Service Desk 2nd Line Support Specialist in Netcompany?

As a Service Desk 2nd Line Support Specialist you will:

  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems that first-line support agents are unable to handle
  • Administer day to day operations to satisfy continuity of service, recovery, security and performance needs including Application troubleshooting, deployments, minor configuration changes and end-to-end infrastructure/application monitoring.
  • Monitor system performance and identify potential issues
  • Provide technical expertise by handling requests regarding Windows environments, common desktop software, hardware, automated software distribution, telephony, video conferencing, and mobile devices (iPhone, iPad, Microsoft Surface Pro).
  • Manage logging and escalation cases by accurately logging all incidents and requests, categorizing and prioritizing them appropriately.
Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role: 

  • Working experience in a similar role for at least 3 years
  • Fluency in English with strong communication skills
  • Experience with ITSM Tools (Jira or Service Now)
  • Experience with Oracle/SQL
  • Experience with IAM (AD, Azure AD or any other Identity Access Management tools)
  • Knowledge of Java, Java Script and Microsoft Office 

It would also be a plus if you match some of the following:

  • Working experience in Application Development and/or System administration 
  • ITILV4 or Security related certification
