Job Description
So, what are the main duties of a PHP Developer – Moodle Platform in Netcompany?
As a PHP Developer – Moodle Platform, you will:
- Develop, configure, and support web application projects on the Moodle platform
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality solutions
- Maintain and enhance existing systems and applications
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise
Qualifications
What would make you a fit for the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in PHP development
- Hands-on experience with the Moodle platform
- Knowledge of SQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Familiarity with at least one PHP framework (e.g., Symfony, Laravel, CodeIgniter) and Bootstrap
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN)
- Understanding of modular programming principles
- Fluency in English and Greek
It would also be a plus if you match some of the following:
- Java programming experience
- Knowledge of additional PHP frameworks
- Experience with advanced Moodle customizations
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks beyond Bootstrap
- Experience working in a team with Agile methodologies
