Job Description

Our SAP department emerges as a premiere SAP partner & integrator in the EMEA market, encompassing the entire spectrum of SAP offerings (hardware procurement, SAP licenses, and customized services). Netcompany's SAP team works on innovative projects, utilizing the latest, cutting-edge SAP technologies (SAP BTP, S/4HANA) and industry-specific solutions (ISU and IS-OIL), across a wide range of sectors (Consumer goods, Education, Utilities, Telcos, Banking etc.)

We are seeking an experienced Lead SAP Funds Management (FM) Consultant with a strong background in Public Sector financial processes to join our SAP team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and optimizing SAP FM solutions tailored for public sector organizations, ensuring alignment with regulatory compliance, budgetary controls, and financial assistance programs. This is a hands-on, client-facing role requiring in-depth functional expertise, leadership experience, and a solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA environments.

As a Lead SAP Funds Management (FM) Consultant you will:

  • Provide expert advice on public sector financial management processes.
  • Ensure alignment between SAP FM functionalities and public sector compliance, audit, and reporting standards.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze functional requirements.
  • Design and develop SAP FM solutions including reports, interfaces, and workflows tailored to public sector needs.
  • Configure SAP FM master data, fund centers, commitment items, budget structures, availability control, and derivation rules.
  • Integrate SAP FM with other SAP modules including FI, CO, MM, Asset Management, and SD.
  • Lead and participate in all testing phases (unit, integration, UAT).
  • Provide post-implementation support, troubleshoot functional issues, and ensure data integrity and system performance.
  • Develop end-user documentation and training materials.
  • Deliver training sessions to ensure effective adoption and usage of SAP FM functionalities.
Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FM, with at least two full-lifecycle implementations.
  • Extensive experience supporting Public Sector financial assistance and budgeting processes.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP FM master data, budget control, and derivation logic.
  • Proven integration experience with FM/GL and modules like MM, Asset Management, and SD.
  • S/4HANA experience required.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Prior consulting or client-facing experience in a leadership capacity is highly desirable.
