Job Description
A Business Analyst (BA) is required to work in the Value Chain Management (VCM)* programme. The BA will work with the Programme Manager and team to review, update and create workstreams/solutions business cases along with supporting documentation to evidence and align to strategic objectives and current/future programmes of work.
Create a Target Operating Model (TOM) for Value Chain Management describing capabilities, integrations and user interfaces to enable the business to work effectively and efficiently through implementation/updating digital solutions, processes and data-driven insights. The TOM will reflect multiple solutions and value streams that are interoperable and combine to deliver business and user value.
The candidate will need to be able to work closely with developers, project managers and technical leads to define the scope of projects, elicit requirements and manage upcoming work.
Key responsibilities:
Demonstrable experience in working in Agile Delivery teams adopting agile tools
Demonstrable experience of working as a BA, investigating, assimilating, and analyzing different needs, constraints, and problems. Able to document the outcomes in simple, easy to understand language.
Demonstrable experience in showcasing analytical skills including communication, stakeholder management, and organisation.
Demonstrable experience of working with Product Owners in grooming product backlog and producing meaningful Epics/Stories that can be consumed by the technical teams.
Experience in process modelling and customer journey mapping and assisting user testing.
Experience of working with various tools and technologies needed by a BA eg Confluence, Jira, Visio Mural, Miro etc
Experience with monitoring tools eg Splunk or New Relic.
Understanding of Service Maps and targeting operating models to align your outputs and outcomes with them
Experience of UK Public Sector services is desirable

Splunk, Datadog, New Relic and similar monitoring\APM solutions
Excellent experience using AWS & Azure
Strong technical knowledge of environments management and configuration orchestration technologies (eg GIT, Bitbucket, Team City, Artifactory, Nexus, or other tools for continuous integration/continuous delivery)
Security clearance

Additional Requirements:
- Must be reliable and flexible.
- Hours of work will be between 08:00 - 18:00, with an 8-hour working day staggered across the 10-hour timeframe.
