Job Description
Netcompany is looking for Entry Level Cloud Infrastructure Engineers to join its Cloud Operations and DevOps Teams to drive forward our support capability to deliver the optimum solutions to our clients.
Based in a brand new purpose built facility in Leeds city centre, you will join a forward-thinking organisation that prioritises your personal development.
You will be provided with extensive training in cloud and supporting technologies, and placed into teams with oversight from senior engineers to ensure your development.

Whether you have recently graduated from university or have experience in other IT roles, you will get a lot of responsibility from the moment you start at Netcompany. You will be supporting some of the largest, most complex and technically innovative programmes and projects for some of the most prestigious organisations in the world.

Essential
- Minimum of 1+ years' experience in a professional working IT environment; as a cloud engineer or similar role, but not limited to this.
- The enthusiasm to continuously learn. You will need to take the initiative and learn new skills, tools, and techniques.
- You thrive when troubleshooting and enjoy solving complex problems.
- Effective communication skills. You will work collaboratively as a team in a fast-moving business sector.
- Experience with Alert Monitoring and Event Management.
- Must have some skill in at least one scripting language.
- Effectively estimate work and produce deliverables on time.
- Ability to plan, organise and accurately report issues and task progress.
- Ability to identify areas for personal development.
- Must be willing to do UK-based travel for projects.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
- Must be able to achieve a UK Security Clearance
Qualifications
- Experience of working on large critical systems.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Understanding of Containerisation, Kubernetes / Docker.
- Understanding of CI/CD Pipelines
