What does it feel like to be an Online Writer and Project Manager in Netcompany?
Our client is seeking an Online Writer or a Digital Content & Editorial Specialist to enhance communication around its connectivity initiatives, particularly the CEF Digital programme. This role will focus on transforming complex information into engaging content, managing online presence, and supporting stakeholder engagement to drive investment in digital infrastructure across Europe.
As an Online Writer and Project Manager, you will:
- Develop and implement an editorial plan for connectivity communication, including CEF Digital.
- Write and edit high-quality, engaging content for the website, press releases, and social media.
- Rewrite complex policy and legal content into clear, accessible language for various audiences.
- Manage and maintain content on the Digital Strategy website, ensuring accuracy and coherence.
- Collaborate with teams to create impactful communication products, including visuals.
- Contribute to the planning and coordination of communication projects and campaigns
- Support the organization of events and conferences related to connectivity.
- Analyze existing content to improve structure and organization for better user experience.
- Contribute to the development of knowledge management workflows for digital policies.
Qualifications
What would make you a fit for the role:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Political Science, Economics, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years' of proven experience in creating and editing digital content, preferably within a policy or technical context.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information.
- Strong understanding of online communication principles and website content management.
- Experience in developing editorial plans and tailoring content for different audiences.
- Experience in coordinating and tracking progress on communication deliverables.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential; knowledge of other EU languages is a plus.
- Familiarity with EU digital policies and programmes (e.g., CEF Digital) is an asset.
