Job Description
Are you ready to discover the role of a SOC analyst in Netcompany?
As part of our SOC team, you will:
- Monitor, analyze, and manage security incidents across platforms using Microsoft 365 Defender services.
- Develop and fine-tune security alerts to enhance the detection and response capabilities of the security operations.
- Engage in proactive threat hunting activities to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
- Leverage your experience in cybersecurity and IT, preferably from a Security Operations Center (SOC), to manage and respond to security incidents effectively.
- Understand and translate current cyber threats into actionable detection use cases, improving our overall security posture.
Qualifications
What would make you a fit for the role:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Security fields.
- 1-2 year of hands-on experience in cybersecurity or IT with similar tasks (preferably from a SOC).
- Fundamental understanding of EDR/XDR and SIEM.
- Ability to convert security threats into detection use-cases.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
