Are you ready to discover the role of a Systems Engineer - Citrix in Netcompany-Intrasoft?

Our client is seeking applications for Citrix System Engineer, who will play a key role in deploying and operating new infrastructure based on Citrix and Nutanix.

They are initiating an operational infrastructure project focused on the deployment and configuration of a newly acquired computing cluster. The objective is to implement Citrix and Nutanix Workspace as the foundational platform to support our virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and application delivery needs.

As a Systems Engineer - Citrix, you will:

  • Provide expert advice and assistance, technology watch, architectural considerations, risk analysis, gap analysis, applicable standards, solution patterns and best practices in the area of Citrix System engineering.
  • Elaborate design documentation, with consultation with stakeholders.
  • Elaborate vision documents focused upon systems components.
  • Deliver the design, installation and configuration of these technologies.
  • Operate IT services according to agreed service levels, ITSM best practices, internal policies and procedures.
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level of technical support, register and troubleshoot incidents and escalating to external parties.
  • Create and test of standard operational procedures backups, restore, monitoring etc.  
  • Implement, configure, administer, monitor and maintain the IT systems to deliver a 24/7 secure, reliable and efficient service for CMS and the whole organization.
Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role:

  • Bachelor's level or 3 years of higher education or equivalent in professional experience.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in systems administration, with relevance to the tasks described above and working in Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) solutions.
  • Previous experience in Designing VDI Infrastructure and datacentre systems.
  • In-depth knowledge and proven hands-on expertise in the implementation and administration of Citrix enterprise infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of standard monitoring and management tools.
  • Capability to write clear and structured technical documents.
  • Collaborative and proactive approach with hands on attitude.

It would also be a plus if you match some of the following:

  • General knowledge of networking, ICT infrastructure, systems and knowledge of ITIL best practices in ICT operations.
  • Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment.
  • Proven hands-on experience with other Nutanix solutions.
  • Previous experience IT automation.

Work Arrangement:

The work will be carried out from the client's premises (Luxembourg) or remotely within the EU. The current rule is to be physically present for at least 50% of working time and subject to the needs for the service being provided. Regular team and stakeholders' meetings will take place in Luxembourg and you will be expected to be present physically for such meetings.
