Job Description

So, what are the main duties of an IT Business Analyst in Netcompany-Intrasoft?

  • Business Process Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of existing business processes related to public sector taxation. Identify areas for improvement and optimization to support the successful implementation of new software systems.
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, including government officials, end-users, and technical teams, to gather and document detailed business and technical requirements for the taxation software.
  • System Design and Specification: Develop detailed system specifications, use cases, and process flow diagrams. Translate business requirements into technical requirements that guide the development team.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions to elicit requirements and ensure stakeholder alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  • Project Involvement: Participate in the development, modernization, implementation, and maintenance of the taxation information system. 
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and user manuals. 
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality assurance teams to validate and test the software, ensuring it meets the defined requirements and standards.
  • Change Management: Manage changes to the project scope and requirements, documenting and communicating any modifications to relevant stakeholders.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to the project manager and other key stakeholders on the progress of analysis, design, and implementation activities.
  • Functional & Integration Testing: Perform functional and integration tests on software customizations and custom development to ensure proper implementation and integration.
Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
  • At least 6 years of experience in the field of business process analysis of information systems.
  • Proven involvement as an information systems analyst in at least one project related to information system development, modernization, implementation, or maintenance.
  • Fluent in both Lithuanian and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a systematic approach to analyzing complex business processes.
  • Knowledge of information systems design, development methodologies, and business process modeling tools.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including government officials, technical teams, and end-users.
  • Experience in managing project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations. Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.

It would also be a big plus if you match some of the following:

  • Experience in the implementation of revenue management, collections, or taxation projects. 
  • Familiarity with Public Sector Processes and operations and taxation systems. 
  • Holding an internationally recognized qualification as an information systems analyst like: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Information Systems Analyst (ISA), Certified Information Systems Analyst (CISA)
