Job Description
Netcompany is looking for a Software Developer with DevOps to join us on a permanent basis to drive forward our delivery and support capability and deliver the optimum solutions to our clients. Based in Leeds you'll be joining a forward-thinking organisation that puts your personal development first.

Key Skills/Experience/ Qualification
Essential
- The desire to go beyond 'just programming'.
- 2+ years experience in Software Development using C# / Java or similar Object-Oriented language.
- A "self-starter" who can learn new programming languages and tools quickly.
- The ability to effectively estimate work and produce deliverables on time.
- Knowledge of specific technologies and methods within modern system development
- Ability to plan and organize one's own work. Accurately report issues and progress
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and to use own initiative
- Ability to identify areas for own personal development
- An understanding of agile tools and techniques
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be willing to do UK-based travel for projects
- Must have the right to work in the UK
- Ability to create and maintain CI/CD Deployment pipelines
- Good trouble shooting / problem solving skills
Qualifications
Desirable
- Client facing experience.
- Familiarity with Azure Dev Ops or similar.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure / environments (Azure /AWS).
- Understanding of Containerisation, Kubernetes / Docker.
- Automation testing knowledge.
Qualifications
- A graduate of Computer Science BSc or a similar discipline

Additional Information
Additional Requirements:
- Must be reliable and flexible.
- Hours of work will be between 08:00 - 18:00, with an 8-hour working day staggered across the 10-hour timeframe.
