Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team in the Nordic region.

Tasks

In this role, you will be responsible for advising various departments within the business on procurement and negotiation processes to secure favorable terms, ensure compliance with company procurement policies and industry regulations. This role requires close collaboration with senior buyers to analyze procurement needs and evaluate supplier proposals. Additionally, you will assist in the implementation of a new group-wide procurement solution to handle all procurement processes in Netcompany.

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Managing purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers and assist in onboarding new vendors.
  • Conducting market research to identify potential suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Maintain procurement documentation and supplier databases for accuracy and up-to-date information.
  • Monitor and analyze procurement performance to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with various departments to understand technical requirements.  
  • Sourcing and selecting IT-related products and services, including hardware and software and support buying for categories such as facilities, office supplies, IT services, professional services, etc.

You will report to our Group Head of Procurement located in Greece. However, you will have your daily presence at our office in Copenhagen and be part of a team of colleagues here.

About You:

We envision that you are a recent graduate or have up to a couple of years of relevant professional experience in procurement tasks. You hold a degree in a relevant field of study and have acquired a solid foundation in procurement, negotiation, and supply chain management through your education. We envision that you either have experience with or an interest in learning various tools, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Navision ERP and Procurement software. Furthermore, you have:

  • Solid communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
  • Familiarity with IT systems, hardware, or software is an advantage (not a requirement).
