Job Description

Are you ready to discover the role of a Portfolio Manager in Netcompany-Intrasoft? 

As a Portfolio Manager you will:

  • Be responsible for managing a portfolio of projects and services, coordinating with relevant parties and outreach to relevant stakeholders;
  • Act as reviewer of social media content and other politically sensitive priorities of the client;
  • Design communication strategies for the central social media channels;
  • Participate in working groups and progress meetings relevant to the projects allocated;
  • Work in close cooperation with both social media and the relevant spoke persons thematically in charge, on joint media and social media projects, under the coordination of the Team leader for political communication planning;
  • Ensure liaison with various departments providing content, representations of the client in Member States, the corporate campaign team, disinformation sector, and the Spokesperson’s Service;
  • Report progress, risks and potential opportunities related to project delivery and lead problem resolution;
  • Assess change requests and ensure follow-up (including meeting the deadlines set by the hierarchy), and check the project planning and timelines.
Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role: 

  • 5+ years of experience in the organisation of high level events and management of contracts and procurement procedures in large organisations, in particular in multi-cultural institutions (previous experience in EU institutions would be considered an advantage);
  • Experience with partnerships negotiation and involvement of stakeholders to help implement priority projects in line with the client's communication strategies;
  • Ability to coordinate and engage stakeholders and third parties (such as think tanks, academia, other European Institutions etc) in line with the strategic and crisis communication priorities;
  • Track record of success in organising events and activities like conferences, seminars, workshops, round tables, expert panels, etc;
  • Experience in procurement and contract management for communication projects; monitor contract performance;
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of EU affairs and priority topics of the EU Institutions;
  • Excellent writing skills in English and another EU language;
  • Capacity to work under time constraints, adaptability and problem-solving attitude;
  • Being a flexible team player with good interpersonal skills and proactive approach.
