Job Description
We’re looking for a proactive, resourceful, efficient, and outcome-driven B2B Events Senior Consultant to join Netcompany UK’s high-performing marketing team. Based in either London or Leeds and reporting directly to the Head of Marketing UK, this individual will be a part of the team driving forward and executing Netcompany UK’s ambitious Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy and plan. This individual will organise, manage, coordinate and deliver a mix of B2B events – from event conception to onsite execution. Events include tailored CXO roundtables, breakfast briefings, live fireside chats and more.
Role Description
- Plan, manage, execute, and take responsibility for all B2B events hosted by Netcompany UK for our core local market verticals: Digital Government, including Healthcare, Defence, Tax & Customs, Private Sector: Transport & Logistics, Manufacturing & Supply Chain.
- Build a strong narrative for each event, that will be driven internally and externally through marketing channels.
- Research, curate and invite participants and invitation lists for tailored CXO roundtables and senior-level executive events in coordination with the Go-to-Market (GTM) team.
- Create and project manage each B2B Event with highly efficient and clear schedules, starting with a strong cross-functional briefing, setting and ensuring deadlines are met, with coordination between the Global Business Events team and the Local UK Events team.
- Manage and control individual B2B event budgets with the Head of Marketing UK.
- Work side-by-side with the UK Field Marketer and UK Digital Marketer to coordinate complementary campaigns alongside UK events, conferences, roundtables, and other Field activities and to support onsite if needed.
Qualifications
- Commercial mind combined with strong management skills: Connect the dots within the business, effectively manage stakeholders, projects, and budgets, and be extraordinarily organised, driven, and adaptable.
- Excellent communicator and influencer: Strong copywriting, clear written and verbal communication and impeccable face-to-face and phone manner are must-haves, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
- Fast-paced problem-solver: Work in a fast-paced, “all-hands-on-deck”, team environment.
- Self-starter with project management or coordination experience: This role is ideal for those with past B2B Conference Producer or B2B Events Coordinator experience looking to expand their business skills.
- Tech-savvy with good business acumen: Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft365, project management platforms (Notion), CRM, CMS, Teams and experience in driving forward the sales cycle, marketing funnel, customer journey, combined with an outcome-driven attitude.
As this role requires decision-making autonomy, negotiations and digital marketing budget management, the ideal candidate must have at least 5 years permanent work experience within B2B marketing and have strong passion with matched experience for B2B marketing and lead generation.
