Are you ready to discover the role of a Webmaster in Netcompany-Intrasoft?

For this specific opportunity you will work for European Commission and specifically for the DG REFORM. You will support the Communication Team to prepare source documents and supporting content for a “Public Administration Toolbox”, in both MS Word and html formats, including a map (site tree), towards developing the online version of the Public Administration Tool. Each chapter would contain hyperlinks to other websites, webpages, PDFs and email addresses of contacts. Textual navigation aids to related topics in other sections of the chapter, and other relevant chapters. DG REFORM graphic experts would cooperate with the contractor in order to develop graphs, infographics and visuals in high-resolution. The HTML version of the source document will be optimised for accessibility and search engine functionalities. Individual sub-sections, clear and concise headlines, keywords, inspiring examples and case studies will be tagged to ensure a comprehensive readerfriendly search. 

The contractor will support the Communication team in developing and maintain an online version of the Public Administration Toolbox. In addition, the contractor will provide necessary support in reviewing and updating current online content and architecture of the Websites hosting DG’s content, in view of improving interface and user experience, as well as optimising accessibility and search engine functionalities. The contactor is expected to be responsible for Content management, Design and functionality, Performance monitoring and Technical upkeep.

What would make you a fit for the role: 

- Very good knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript for front-end development 

- Understanding of server-side languages such as Python or Hypertext Preprocessor 

- Very good knowledge of popular CMS platforms such as Drupal and WordPress. 

It would also be a plus if you match some of the following: 

- Similar experience in European Institutions in the past 

- Experience with maintaining online tools, updating online content and architecture, improving and optimising them and working in the fields of Content management, Design and functionality and performance monitoring.
