OT Cyber Security Senior Specialist

As an OT Cyber Security Senior Specialist, you will be a part of the vibrant team of our highly skilled Information Security organization. Your everyday life will mainly consist of designing and implementing advanced Information Security Solutions for OT/ICS systems and operating the relevant infrastructure.

You will therefore support Cybersecurity Projects in the OT/ICS domain, particularly in preparing solutions for various projects, and support the design of proposals and be engaged in on-site and off-site delivery.

As a OT Cyber Security Senior Specialist you will:

• Assist in the implementation of cybersecurity projects related to OT systems.
• Monitor and improve clients’ OT cyber security programs.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely and efficient execution.
• Contribute to defining project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
• Consult clients so that SCADA operations and cyber security management processes are performed in an audit-capable manner
• Help monitor project progress and identify potential risks.
• Support the design and implementation of secure and efficient OT systems.
• Assist in developing system architectures and integration plans.
• Follow cybersecurity standards and best practices in system design.
• Serve as a technical liaison between the IT, OT and facilities technical personnel
• to ensure production facilities, operations and systems are following security best practices.
• Contribute to risk assessments for OT systems to identify vulnerabilities.
• Help evaluate potential risks and recommend mitigation measures.
• Assist in implementing security controls and procedures.

What would make you a fit for the role:

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar scientific / technical field
• Strong understanding of OT network communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, CIP, Modbus, OPC, etc.) and industrial networking topologies (e.g., ring, star, etc.)
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks for ICS/OT environments (ISA-99/IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, CIS, etc.) and Purdue model.

• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience and a deep understanding of technology and cybersecurity domain principles. 
• 3+ years of experience working specifically on securing OT/ICS systems.
• Operational Technology (Thorough Knowledge/Fully Proficient)
• Expert ability to conduct and analyse a security risk assessment.
• Proficient in Network Engineering/Architecture. 
• Demonstrated ability in designing cybersecurity solutions and architecture (firewalls, IAM, SIEM, etc.) 
• Familiarity with multiple ICS/SCADA equipment manufacturers, system platform architectures, and OT network communications protocols.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills
• Able to adapt to changing environments and work processes
• Professional qualifications such as Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP) is advantageous
