Job Description

Joining us as an Atlassian Application Support Agent, you will integrate the Project Management Support Team. Responsibilities of the team encompass deploying, testing, and operating all the Atlassian Eco System which provides different functionalities to various entities.

The offered service consists of the following sub-services:

  • Atlassian to Business (A2B) is a service based on a highly customizable system, utilizing Jira and Confluence plus a broad number of additional components, hosted at a data center.
  • The IT Network (ITnet) service, the software development lifecycle management (SDLC) toolset, provides a collaborative space for IS developers, both internal and external. The approach is inspired by the open-source communities' way of working.
  • ITnet offers the following services: Version Control System (SVN, Git), Issue Tracker (Jira), Agile Iteration Management, Collaborative Code Review (Fisheye, Sonarqube), Software Code Repository (Nexus), Continuous Integration (Bamboo), and Collaborative Documentation (Confluence/Gliffy/Balsamiq).

As an Atlassian Application Support Agent  you will:

  • Receive and log user requests/ incidents & questions (by e-mail or Service Now).
  • Solving the first line, investigating problems, and determining appropriate actions.
  • Keep end-users informed on request status and progress.
  • Manage Upgrade/Migration of Atlassian Servers
  • Participate in meetings with Officials.
  • Improving documentation and creating FAQs based on received calls.
Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role:

  • Higher education or equivalent overall experience
  • Some knowledge of JIRA at user level preferred, higher knowledge is a plus.
  • Knowledge In System and Network Administration preferred
  • A first successful experience in user support
  • Have good analytical skills and quickly understand process.
  • Be solution-oriented as well proactive and reactive to any problem.
  • High communication skills and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work in an international/multicultural environment. 
  • Strong team player with excellent relationship skills.
  • You are stress resistant and able to impart knowledge at various levels.
  • Good knowledge of English, Any other language is an asset.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Takes initiatives.
  • ITIL V3 foundation certification.
  • Experience with European Commission is an asset.
  • Experience with ticketing system (Service Now is an asset).
  • Ability to adapt to changes quickly.
  • Analytical and systematic approach to problem solving.
  • Punctual, meticulous and reliable.
