Role Description

As a Technical Architect at Netcompany, you will provide technical and architecture expertise to support designing solutions users really need and want. You’ll test the art of the possible by designing proofs of concept to test solutions for future services, working with internal groups, third parties and external suppliers.

  • Develop comprehensive architecture designs for complex IT systems, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders and development teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact and applicability to the IT landscape.
  • Create and maintain detailed architectural documentation, including high-level and detailed designs, ensuring clarity and consistency.
  • Ensure that all solutions comply with architectural governance and compliance requirements, including data security and privacy regulations.
Qualifications

Key Skills/Experience/Qualification

  • Extensive prior experience in software development and designs, with proven delivery success
  • Strong experience with the full life cycle of Agile software development processes, approaches, delivery and methods
  • Experience in object orient programming languages such as Java, C# or Scala
  • Experience with architecture frameworks e.g. TOGAF
  • Experience with Modern Software Architecture – Cloud Native, Cloud Optimised, Microservices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience of working to GDS or equivalent standards in the UK Public sector.
