As a Senior Oracle ADF Developer you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing robust applications using Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) technology. Leveraging your expertise in Oracle ADF and your understanding of the insurance sector, you will contribute to the enhancement and optimization of our systems, ensuring seamless functionality and superior user experience.

As a Senior Oracle ADF Developer you will:

• Work with business analysts and stakeholders to understand and document requirements, turning business objectives into technical plans.
• Build, enhance, and maintain web applications using Oracle ADF, following coding standards and practices.
• Modify Oracle ADF components (task flows, data bindings, UI components) as needed for projects.
• Implement security and access controls in Oracle ADF applications to protect data.
• Connect Oracle ADF applications with databases, backend systems, and external APIs for data integration.
• Conduct testing (unit, integration, system) to ensure Oracle ADF applications meet quality standards.
• Improve application efficiency through code optimization and performance tuning.
• Lead and mentor junior developers in Oracle ADF development techniques.
• Keep up-to-date with technology trends in Oracle ADF development and the insurance industry, integrating new ideas into projects.
• Work with teams across functions to ensure timely, within-budget project delivery.
• Manage support for production environments, resolving issues to maintain service.
• Enhance development processes and methodologies for better efficiency and innovation.

What would make you a fit for the role:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• At least 4 years of experience as an Oracle ADF Developer, with a proven track record of designing and developing enterprise-grade applications.
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle ADF framework, including ADF Faces, ADF Business Components, ADF Task Flows, and ADF Security.
• Experience in the [insurance sector/industry] will be considered as a plus, with a strong understanding of insurance business processes, products, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in Oracle database concepts, SQL, and PL/SQL programming language.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle ADF Developer Certified Implementation Specialist) are a plus.
