Ever wondered what it feels like to be a Senior System Engineer in Netcompany-Intrasoft?

As a Senior System Engineer, you will work closely with a highly skilled team of domain experts to support a multitude of VMWare and Linux-based core infrastructure technologies.

As a Senior System Engineer you will:

• Administer and design enterprise-wide infrastructure solutions based on VMWare & Linux
• Plan and execute system Change Management tasks involving relevant datacenter technologies
• Establish service automations
• Fulfill service requests and resolve incidents
• Coordinate with the DevOps, Network and Security Engineering teams as part of incident response, project implementations and architecture initiatives
• Conduct technical evaluations
• Interact and collaborate with all levels of the team to provide analysis, recommendations, and direction related to service functionalities. 
• Maintain the respective documentation of the relevant services, systems, and processes

What would make you a fit for the role:

• University or Technological Institute Degree in Computer Science or relative faculty
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in a similar role
• Proven experience working in large-scale infrastructure environments involving VMWare and Linux technologies in an SAN environment
• Considerable expertise in Linux
• Excellent command of the English language (written and oral)
• VCP certification or proven equivalent experience
• Ability to work in an international/multicultural environment 
• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills

It would also be a plus if you match some of the following:

• Working experience in Microservices-based environments
• Any Linux certification
