»It’s not just coding. It’s creating an impact«

David Kliment
Consultant
David Kliment sees IT consulting as more than just building systems. It’s about building solutions that matter. As part of Netcompany’s Dutch public sector projects, he helps automate complex administrative workflows that once took hours of manual work.
Turning curiosity into capability

When David joined Netcompany in 2024, he brought with him strong analytical and communication skills, as well as a drive to learn fast.

»I appreciated being able to focus on learning first, with support from colleagues,« he says. »It was intense, but it gave me the confidence to contribute meaningfully once I started on a project.«

Since joining, David has worked on systems that automate document generation for government institutions. Streamlining processes and reducing human error. His role involves collaborating closely with developers and clients to translate functional requirements into clean, efficient technical solutions.

»Knowing that what we do actually improves efficiency and people’s work lives makes it meaningful. It’s not just coding. It’s creating an impact.«

A journey across industries and borders

Before pursuing a career in tech, David gained experience across industries and countries. Growing up in Hungary, he moved to the UK for academic opportunities, earning a degree from Cambridge, and later joined his partner in the Netherlands.

By that point, he had already gained over two years of experience across a variety of professional roles. These experiences sharpened his communication and adaptability. Skills that now help him thrive in client interactions.

Having worked across different industries, David has learned to recognise patterns in people and situations. This experience allows him to adapt quickly and communicate effectively, which has become a key part of his approach as a consultant.

Consulting in a technical world

David thrives where technology meets people. His ability to listen, ask the right questions, and understand business needs helps ensure that solutions are not just technically sound but also practical and user-friendly.

David emphasises that in consulting, communication is just as important as technical skills. By understanding the client’s goals, he can help build solutions that actually work for them.

That mix of empathy and technical thinking has become central to how he approaches problem-solving.

Learning in a collaborative culture

»At Netcompany, I’ve learned that asking questions early is key,« David says. »People are always willing to help. That’s how you grow quickly.«

Working in an agile project team means he and his colleagues need a deep understanding of both the technical architecture and the business logic behind it.

»We can practically do each other’s jobs if needed. It’s teamwork at its finest.«

Building impact through IT

Looking back, David wouldn’t change a thing.

His diverse experience has become his greatest strength in a field that increasingly values consultants who can bridge technical solutions with business understanding.

For David, success in tech consulting isn’t about having the most traditional background, it’s about having the right mindset.

»Everything I’ve done has brought me here,« he says. »It’s taught me to think broadly, adapt fast, and collaborate effectively.«

This approach reflects what consulting is really about. Connecting technology to people.
