Danish Programming Championship 2025

Saturday, October 4th, 2025
from 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Become the next Danish Champion in programming. Gather your team and participate on October 4th, when Netcompany in collaboration with Jobindex once again invites you to the Danish Programming Championship.

The Danish Programming Championship is a coding competition where you and your team can test your coding skills and compete against other students in both Copenhagen and Aarhus. So, if you’re ready to solve challenging and fun coding tasks, now is your chance!

We look forward to welcoming you to IT University of Copenhagen and Aarhus University, where the competition will be held. If you are a university student at another university, you should register for the location nearest to your educational institution. For example, suppose you are a student at Aalborg University and wish to participate. In that case, you should register for the competition at Aarhus University. If you are a student at DTU or University of Copenhagen, you should register for the competition at IT University of Copenhagen. Students from all universities are welcome.

We open the doors at 10:00 AM, and the competition starts at 11:00 AM. We provide refreshments throughout the competition and pizza, beer, and soft drinks afterwards.

Note that your team must be physically present at the registered location to participate in the competition.

Join the Competition Against International Students Afterwards

The winning team also receives the prestigious title of Danish programming champions. Furthermore, this year’s winners of the Danish Programming Championship win a gift certificate worth DKK 10,000, which can be used to participate in the Northwestern European Regional Contest (NWERC)

However, the winning team is not the only one that can participate in NWERC; all ICPC-eligible can also participate in the Northwestern European competition afterwards if nominated for this.

Registration

You must register for the NCPC (Nordic Collegiate Programming Contest) to participate in the competition.

How to Register for NCPC

Registration and guide for NCPC registration can be found here: NCPC 2025

Everyone is welcome to participate in NCPC, regardless of age or study status. However, you and your team must meet special requirements to win the year’s prize and the title of Danish Champions in programming. Formally, you as a team must be “ICPC-eligible”; read more about the official rules here: NCPC 2025.

When registering, you must indicate whether your team is ICPC-eligible.
