Pharos

Bringing public sector risk analysis into the modern era.

Pharos is a next-gen risk analysis solution designed for the public sector, offering increased usability, seamless interoperability, and a modern technology stack.

Public administrations have access to vast amounts of data, ranging from digital forms like tax and customs declarations, which require immediate analysis for risk identification and other purposes, to data from multiple sources necessitating complex transformations and cross-validations. Our commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) product, Pharos, leverages over 20 years of experience in data-driven risk analysis to provide insights that aid in fraud prevention, risk mitigation, and auditing within the public sector.

Pharos is purpose-built, adaptable, and data-driven

Enjoy Purpose Built Functionality

As opposed to general-purpose solutions, PHAROS features drag-and-drop editors for quick creation of risk rules, evaluation- and selection tools to single out suspicious entities, and insightful comparative views engineered to flag discrepancies.

Apply both rules-based and AI/ML based analysis

Public administrations have traditionally analysed data for risk identification or other purposes using a rules-based approach. LUMINA also adds advanced AI/ML capabilities to the mix. This is offered on a single user interface that supports both “traditional” and “modern” approaches to analyzing data, enabling the end user to benefit from the best of the two worlds without having to use multiple systems.

Integrate seamlessly to third-parties

PHAROS ensures easy integration with third-party systems through synchronous and asynchronous communication, both for retrieving the data for analysis and for sharing the analysis results. Moreover, it is pre-integrated with Netcompany’s flagship products for the public sector domain (ERMIS, SOLON TAX, PERSEUS, AMPLIO).

Adapt easily via microservices

PHAROS guarantees high performance, reliability, scalability, and seamless user experiences. By utilising the latest in open-source technology, it reduces dependency on specific products or vendors. Through its microservices-based architecture, it guarantees adaptability to future needs.

Pharos Components

The Pharos Transactional analysis component is designed to cater to the needs of public administrations, for quickly analysing data whether for risk identification or other purposes, contained in digital forms such as tax and customs declarations or applications (e.g. benefit claims). It simplifies the creation of risk rules by enabling risk officers, who typically lack technical skills, to configure powerful risk rules of varying complexity on the fly directly from a graphical user interface.
